Following the idea of “Frau Liebe” I want to show on every Sunday (or sometimes on a Monday Wednesday ;) seven things which I used - with my hands - during the day.

Nach der Idee von "Frau Liebe" gibt es an dieser Stelle jeden Sonntag (oder erst am Montag Mittwoch ;) Bilder von sieben Sachen, für die ich heute meine Hände gebraucht habe.

1. As every morning… making the bed is only possible after the cats agree to a short break of their cat naps.

Wie an jedem Morgen, kann man das Bett erst machen, nachdem sich die Katzen bereit erklärt haben, ihren Vormittagsschlaf einmal kurz zu unterbrechen.

2. While painting this terracotta pot, I realized that the turquoise craft acrylics also makes a nice nail color - only with real nail polish as a base and top coat, of course.

Während ich diesen Terrakotta Topf bemalte, fand ich, daß die Farbe sich auch gut als Nagellack machen würde. Also trug ich zuerst weißen Nagellack auf, dann die türkise Bastelfarbe und zum Abschluß klaren Nagellack.

3. I saved the not so little, male sand lizard from Kali, the cat who is photobombing that picture right beneath.
The lizard got moved to a nice dry stacked stonewall, where hopefully no cat will ever find him again.

Ich rettete die gar nicht so kleine, männliche Zauneidechse vor Kali (die Katze, die gerade das untere Bild ge-photobombed hat ^^). Der / die Eidechse, lebt jetzt in einer schönen Trocken-Steinwand, wo er hoffentlich nie wieder einer Katze begegnet.

4. It was cold, so jacket and an additional blanket was necessary, but we spent every sunny minute outside in the garden :)

Es war kalt, also brauchte man eine Jacke und warme Decke... aber wir haben jede sonnige Minute genossen :)

5. Walking by the ‘Pulse of Europe’ and hoping that the European spirit is stronger than extreme right wing politics.

Wir stießen eher zufällig auf den ‘Pulse of Europe’ und hofften mit den Anwesenden, daß der europäische Gedanke gegen rechtsextreme Politik gewinnen wird.

6. I had a tiny peanut cake, which was okay with the tea.

Ich hatte ein Erdnusstörtchen zum Tee, das sah immerhin sehr gut aus.

7. And what did A. do? - Chai with honey, a Sunday morning favorite :)

Und was hat A. gemacht? - Chai mit Honig, so wie jeden Sonntag Morgen :)

What do you do, when the weather is rather unpleasant - but you still don’t feel like staying indoors, because spring and such?

Was unternimmst Du, wenn das Wetter so ungemütlich ist - aber man trotzdem gerne draußen sein möchste, schließlich ist Frühling und so?
