In the late 1960s, my grandmother gifted this little doll with a sleigh to my mother. It was probably part of a putz village, but she never got more parts other than this one.
My mum took very good care of the doll and later gave it to me, although I always was a big destroyer of her porcelain dolls.
Surprisingly this doll survived throughout the years with me, until I took it out from my Christmas decoration suitcase … just to find her in pieces and removed from the cardboard stand. So I glued on her cap and body, just adding a bit of new hair made from twine. Then I removed the wax stains, painted everything white and added white glitter on the stand and the tree. Now, she is ready for this season, although I probably have to find her a new dress soon, since the old dress really lost its color. Perhaps I should also make a putz house for her, add some woodland animals and bottle brush trees …
In den späten 1960er Jahren schenkte meine Großmutter meiner Mutter diese kleine Puppe samt Schlitten. Es war wahrscheinlich Teil eines Weihnachtsdorfes, obwohl sie nie mehr Teile als diese eine bekam.
Jahre später, bekam ich die kleine Dekoration (ich weiß nicht wie freiwillig ^^) obwohl ich früher ein großer Zerstörer von Porzellanpuppen war.

Überraschenderweise überlebte die Puppe viele Jahre, bis ich sie nun aus meinem Weihnachts-Deko-Koffer auspackte und nur noch die Teile von ihr in der Hand hielt. Also klebte ich den Hut wieder an (und auch ein paar zusätzliche Haare, die ich aus Paketband gewann.) Dann entfernte ich die Wachsflecken, strich den Stand weiß, strich Klebstoff auf und bestreute diesen (und den Baum) mit weißem Glitter. Dann klebte ich die Puppe auf den Stand und jetzt ist sie bereit für die neue Advents-Saison. Wahrscheinlich sollte ich ihr bald auch noch ein neues Kleid anziehen, und vielleicht ein kleines Glitzerhaus dazu-basteln :)
