Whenever I visit the old seaside resorts on the island of Usedom, I’m so happy about the beautiful old buildings. 

Every time I fall in love with another building, this time it was the carefully restored, pink ‘Villa Hintze’ in Heringsdorf with its gothic style windows, neo-classic balconies and little details all over the place … and although it looks like a true doll house, the huge rooftop terrace gives it a modern convenience (and undisturbed views of the Baltic Sea) as well.

Wann immer ich die alten Ostseebäder auf der Insel Usedom besuche, freue ich mich so über die wunderschönen, z.T. aufwendig restaurierten Häuser der ‚Bäderarchitektur‘. 

Jedes Mal finde ich das eine oder andere Gebäude besonders schön, dieses Mal war es die rosa ‚Villa Hintze‘ in Heringsdorf, mit ihren neogotischen Fenstern, klassischen Säulen, Balkonen und der Vielzahl an dekorativen Details. Und obwohl all das wie ein echtes Puppenhaus aussieht, so garantiert die große Dachterrasse auch moderne Ansprüche und einen unverstellten Blick auf die Ostsee.
